Simon Pegg (“Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol”) for the dramacomedy “Hector and the Search for Happiness.”
Director Peter Chelsom (“Serendipity”) has pulled director duties this time based on a script adapted from Francois Lelord’s novel of the same name.
In the film Simon Pegg stars as Hector, an eccentric psychiatrist who’s going nowhere and whose patients are
zappos tiger n’t getting any happier. One day, he musters up the courage to set out on a quest to find out if happiness really exists.
Pike is set to play his long-time girlfriend, onitsuka tiger facebook and Plummer will play Professor Coreman, the leading for Happiness Studies at UCLA.
This will not be the first time Pike has played Pegg’s girlfriend as they are currently filming “The World’s End” where she is his long-lost love.
This is a very talented cast under the direction of a not-so-talented director (he is responsible for the “Hannah Montana” movie) so it is up in the air as to whether or not this film will be worthwhile.
As a rule of thumb I tend to trust in the fact that Pegg always delivers an entertaining performance which makes his movies worth at least a rental.
