ctor and director Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead today in his New York City apartment, of what is being described as a drug overdose. He was 46 years old. He had been struggling with drug and alcohol problems since college but had been sober for more than two decades until checking himself into a rehab facility last May.
Hoffman had grown to become one of todays most respected actors, and
